Yes, people choose which sex they are attracted too. One reason I believe this is that I have personally had friends who were homosexual for so many years and then decided to change their mind. In the case of another friend, who was heterosexual, they decided that they were now going to be homosexual. However, I do believe that attraction does not refer only to sex. Attraction can have several different meanings such as admiration because of intellignece or someones accomplishments. Just like there are girls that I do like, there are some girls that I don't like. Even with guy friends for example, I must like them to some degree. So that means in some ways I am attracted to them as well even though I am heterosexual. So in terms of the question, it is too general to ask, do people choose which sex they are attracted to?

Actually, studies have shown that people don't chose who they are attracted to for the most part. Why would a homosexual be the way they are knowing the humiliation, torture, and rejection that the world will haunt them with? I know of a boy who did not know and did not want to admit that he was gay until he reached high school. He did not want to be the way he was, but i guess being homosexual is an attribute at birth.
